History

TPP was incorporated in July, 1984 and Tech Medical in May, 1990. We are supported by a management staff with over 100 years combined experience in the plastics industry. We believe that our employees are our greatest asset and that performance of their duties is of the utmost importance.  Below are some important dates in our history.

• 1984 - Technical Precision Plastics, Inc. established and incorporated
• 1986 - 24 x 7 day, 4 shift continuous operation
• 1990 - Class 100,000 Clean Room
• 1993 - Class 10,000 FDA Approved Medical Assembly Area 
               for Contract Packaging
• 1996 - ISO 9002 Certification by Underwriter's Laboratories
• 2003 - ISO 9000-2000 Certification by UL
• 2004 - Addition of Multi-Shot Capabilities
               Celebrated our 20th anniversary
• 2005 - ISO 13485 Certification
• 2006 - Addition of 26,000 sq. ft. Assembly/Manufacturing/Warehouse Annex
• 2008 - Addition of Three-shot Molding capabilities
• 2008 - Addition of Mitutoyo Vision Systems
• 2009 - TPP Dominicana, Ltd. established

Plant Locations

Main Plant TPP Annex Tech Medical Plastics TPP Dominicana, Ltd. TPP's main plant is located just yards off of Interstate 40/85 in Mebane, North Carolina on five (5) acres with 50,000 square feet of office, manufacturing and warehouse in our main facility. Adjacent land has been purchased and is available for expansion.  In 2006 we added a 26,000 sq/ft. annex to accommodate additional  manufacturing, sub-assembly and warehousing. In 2009 TPP Dominicana, Ltd. was established offering 20,000 sq/ft of clean room manufacturing and sub-assembly.   Map  and directions.
