Design
/ Development
Technical Precision provides support and leadership assisting valued customers in product design and development. Combining principles of plastic part design and CAD/CAM
engineering tools. TPP utilizes SolidWorks® and Mold Flow Part Advisor MPA® to create and analyze complex plastic components and assemblies.
Plastics material selection and application support are provided by TPP and through its diverse supplier base. Technical knowledge of plastics materials and performance ensure your application utilizes plastics for maximum performance and cost advantages.
Program Management systems track and communicate design and development activities. Customer communications are paramount in all phases of development programs.

Assembly/Packaging
TPP adds value to customer products through a variety of assembly options. Customer driven systems are developed and maintained in manual and automated cells. Processes include ultrasonic welding of thermoplastics, heat staking and inserting applications.
Tech Medical operations offer clean assembly area in it's ISO Class 7 area. This area offers automated and manual systems compliant to customer requirements. Direct Market Unit assemblies are packaged and shipped to customer distribution sites manufactured under Tech Medical Plastics FDA registered contract packaging guidelines.

Operations
Technical Precision Plastics, Inc., operates on a continuous 24/7 production schedule.
Dedicated teams of trained employees, averaging greater than five (5) years of service, focus on customer specific details.
Plastic processing is accomplished using the latest technologies. TPP uses electric Roboshot™ injection molding equipment. Precision molding operations utilize a broad range of machine sizes appropriate to customer requirements. Ongoing equipment replacement programs provide implementation of the latest technologies,
beginning in 2004 with the first of three multi-shot component
machines. The most recent, which was installed in the new 26,000
sq.ft. annex, has three shot capability.
Operations utilize Servo-Driven Robotics for improved efficiencies. Dedicated teams focus on implementation of Lean Manufacturing Principles. These commitments ensure TPP and their customer's success in a competitive global environment.

In 2009 TPP Dominicana, Ltd. was established offering 20,000 sq/ft of clean room manufacturing, sub-assembly with Class 100,000 (Level 8) Clean Room Certified to
ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 1345:2003 Standards.

To maintain product supply, excellent tooling
support is necessary. TPP has committed resources
offering tooling maintenance, repair and engineering
enhancement that ensures consistent extended life for
customer tooling. Documented mold histories
providing accurate, traceable, mold status.

New Tooling
TPP designs and builds injection mold tooling for it's
customers. Extensive knowledge of tooling technologies
allows us to build tooling for medical, automotive,
electronic and consumer industries. Utilization of the
latest hotrunner and construction materials benefit our
customers with world class tooling capable of high volume
production for years. Coordination of internal and
external resources for new construction guarantee on-time
delivery meeting customer requirements.
Prototype Tooling
TPP offers a variety of solutions for product
development tooling. Our extensive experience across
several industries allow utilization of the systems best
suited for specific product development cycles.

Transfer Tooling
TPP has extensive experience in transfer programs supporting customers with one (1) mold to more than 100 molds needing relocation. Transfer programs are managed by a team that applies APQP techniques addressing all customer concerns. Coordination of customer priorities for tool modifications is accommodated by the in-house tooling capability through transfer programs.
