As a company, TPP is committed to give back to our community in several areas. Each year, with the support of our customers, suppliers and friends, TPP hosts a golf tournament for local charities.

From 1999 - 2007, proceeds from the tournaments were donated to The March Of Dimes. March of Dimes is a United States health charity whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. TPP was pleased to help this worthy organization.

Beginning in 2008, in memory of one of our original employees Leona Surrette - Hospice of Alamance-Caswell has benefited from our annual tournaments as well as other functions provided by our employees. Hospice of Alamance-Caswell has served Alamance, Caswell and surrounding communities since 1982. As a not-for-profit hospice and home health care provider, their mission is to care for those with serious illnesses or conditions, and their families, to help them live as fully and comfortably as possible. The tournaments held at the Mill Creek Golf Club in Mebane have raised over $50,000 for Hospice!

During our 2005 tournament, Ronnie Moore Jr. won an American IronHorse Chopper motorcycle valued at $32,000! Ronnie hit a 184-yard hole-in-one with a 6 iron on a par 3 hole. In 2010, Mike Ellison hit a hole-in-one on the 145-yard 13th hole. Mike won a set of clubs.

TPP as a whole pulls together in many ways to help others. In the past, we have sent care packages to our soldiers overseas as well as supported one of our own employees who had a son stationed in Iraq. We enjoy and feel the need to help those less fortunate during the holiday season by assisting in our local Christmas Cheer programs. We have also collected and donated food items to Loaves & Fishes - a local independent food ministry that provides groceries to hungry families in Alamance County and 5 surrounding counties.

Employees are allowed to participate in the local Red Cross Blood Drives during their work day. Several TPP employees faithfully "donate the gift of life".

Our team efforts continue through numerous events held throughout the year. It provides fun and joy for all involved. Giving back to our community not only helps those in need, but gives a sense of pride to our company as well as our employees.
