As a company, TPP is committed to give back to our community in several areas. Each year with the support of our customers, suppliers and friends TPP hosts a golf tournament for local charities.
This year, in memory of one of our original employees Leona Surrette, Hospice of Alamance – Caswell
benefited from our annual tournament as well as other functions provided by our employees. Our ninth annual tournament held at the Mill Creek Golf Club in Mebane on Thursday, April 24th raised over $20,000 for Hospice. The event enjoyed a record crowd of over 150 participants teeing off in both morning and afternoon rounds.

A key endeavor we are involved with includes “Adopt-a-School.” The school TPP has “adopted” is a local
elementary school just a few miles down the road. South Mebane welcomes our weekly visits with four to five employees who assist/tutor in various classrooms. The added support given to these children enable them to keep up
with their classmates and not fall behind. All involved come away with a renewed spirit during each visit.
TPP as a whole pulls together in many ways as well as times of crisis. Most recently we have sent care packages to our soldiers overseas as well as
supported one of our own employees who had a son stationed in Iraq. We enjoy and feel the need to help those less fortunate during the holiday season by assisting in our local Christmas Cheer programs. This program provides assistance for needy families during the holidays.
Our team efforts continue through numerous events held throughout the year. It provides fun and joy for all involved. Giving back to our
community not only helps those in need, but gives a sense of pride to our company as well as our employees.
